Schiatti & C.
Among the brands I seek out with the most passion for my shop is Schiatti & C., an Italian brand now almost forgotten, but which deserves to be rediscovered.
Born in Monza in the 1960s and 70s, Schiatti & C. distinguished itself for its craftsmanship in very high-quality garments, working with fine leathers and rare fabrics such as Egyptian cotton. Its production was destined for exclusive boutiques in Italy and abroad, with a significant presence especially in the United States. Many of the garments found online, in fact, come from there.
The peculiarity is that the brand was not limited to creating its own collections: it also produced garments on commission for numerous prestigious shops, adapting its style and quality to the needs of renowned boutiques. One of these was Jannello, a historic clothing landmark active for over a hundred years in my city, Messina.
Anyone who has had the good fortune to touch a Schiatti & C. garment knows that it is difficult to describe its quality: the details, the softness of the materials, and the sartorial care speak for themselves.
