First Japanese edition of the iconic " The Number Of The Beast" by Iron Maiden, here in the sought-after variant with matte OBI (" Matte Obi ") without poster indication, but with telephone number on the top of the back of the OBI and UK fanclub information in the insert.
Released in 1982 by Toshiba EMI (catalog EMS-91034), this specific version is one of four known variants of the first Japanese pressing and is particularly interesting for collectors who pay close attention to differences in pressing and packaging.
A fundamental album in the history of heavy metal, the first with Bruce Dickinson on vocals, it contains absolute classics such as " Run to the Hills ", " Hallowed Be Thy Name " and the title track "The Number Of The Beast".
The record is presented in its original cover with the famous artwork by Derek Riggs and includes the original gatefold insert with complete lyrics in English and notes/biography in Japanese.
