1985 Japanese first pressing of Songs From The Big Chair, catalog number 25PP-157, released by Mercury / Nippon Phonogram and complete with its original ¥2,500 OBI. This edition is pressed on JVC Supervinyl, an audiophile vinyl recognizable by its characteristic brownish-amber coloring, which is translucent when held up to the light.

The OBI promotes “Shout”, which was used in Japan for a Suzuki Cultus TV commercial, and introduces Tears for Fears as one of the new British acts poised to conquer the United States.

The duo’s second album and one of the landmark pop records of the eighties, it contains the famous tracks “Shout”, “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”, “Head Over Heels”, and “Mothers Talk”.

A - Shoulders: Measure the width from one shoulder seam to the other, across the top of the back.

B - Chest: Measure from armpit to armpit, keeping the tape horizontal.

C - Length: Measure from the base of the collar to the bottom of the garment.

D - Sleeve: Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.

Trousers

A - Waist: Measure around your waist where you usually wear your trousers.

B - Length: Measure from the top edge of the waistband to the bottom hem of the leg.

C - Crotch: Measure from the crotch seam to the top edge of the waistband.

D - Hem: Measure the hem horizontally.
